EFFORTS to get Covid-19 vaccines out to people in their own communities continues this weekend and coming week across Dudley with a host of walk-in clinics open for appointment free jabs.
Across Dudley, 402,855 vaccinations have been given out in total (219,419 first dose and 183,436 second dose vaccines), with 69.5 per cent of the borough's population now fully vaccinated.
Nearly 30 per cent of people, however, are not fully jabbed so health chiefs are ramping up the walk-in vaccine offering over the coming days across the borough which currently has an infection rate of 410.1 cases per 100,000 people, with 1,319 positive cases of the virus confirmed in the last seven days.
