A NEW clothing shop is to launch in Stourbridge's Ryemarket shopping centre.
Arhams clothing store is to open in the old Shoezone unit in the shopping centre on Friday August 13.
Businessman Irfan Tahir, from London, who has a background in the clothing retail industry, is launching the new venture which will sell menswear, ladieswear, children's clothes, footwear and accessories.
His father Tahir Mahmood already runs stores in the London area but this will be Mr Tahir's first store in the West Midlands.
He said he was "very excited" to be opening his first shop in Stourbridge - having spent some time researching the market and different areas.
He said he picked the town for its affluence and as "there's not a lot of competition" but he's also eyeing up the possibility of opening outlets in Kingswinford and Halesowen in the not too distant future.
