Here is a selection of dogs from the RSPCA Birmingham Animal Centre looking for new homes.

Scruff
Gender – Female
Age – 10 years old (approx.)
Breed - Patterdale Terrier (Fell Terrier)
Colour – Black and Grey
Can live with – Retired couple or owners who can be with her all the time. Scruff has some health problems but she is energetic for an older dog. Looking for an only animal home, could live with children of a secondary school age, loves fuss and attention.
Misha
Gender – Female
Age – 9 years old (approx.)
Breed - Staffordshire Bull Terrier crossbreed
Colour – White and black
Can live with – Experienced owners and children of a secondary school age, would prefer to be the only animal. She loves company, food and treats.
Sheba
Gender – Female
Age - 3 years old (approx.)
Breed - German Shepherd
Colour – Black and tan
Can live with – Owner who is physically capable of handling her as she has lots of energy and will only get stronger as she gains weight. Sheba would prefer an adult only household where she is the only animal. She loves toys and games.
Snowy
Gender – Female
Age – 8 years old (approx.)
Breed - Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Colour – White
Can live with – An adult only household where she is the only animal. In the past she has had altercations with other dogs when out and about off the lead so she must now wear a muzzle and be kept on the lead at all times. Snowy is now fully muzzle trained and she passed her behaviour tests with RSPCA. She is quiet but full of love and loves toys and games.
Charlie
Gender – Female
Age – 5 years old (approx.)
Breed – American Bulldog crossbreed
Colour – White
Can live with – Charlie would prefer to live in an adult only household where she is the only animal. Her new owners will need to be experienced and practical. They will also need to be able to physically hold her as she is strong when she chooses to be. She would prefer not to live with a cat. Charlie loves cuddles.
Eric
Gender – Male
Age – 1 year old (approx.)
Breed – Dutch Shepherd
Colour – Tan, black and white
Can live with – Eric has missed out on a lot so he’s looking for a very well experienced owner who knows Shepherds well as he needs a lot of guidance. He would prefer to be the only animal in an adult only household. Eric loves toys and games.
If you’re interested in adopting any of the dogs above, you will need to complete an application form found on the website and a member of staff will be in touch if your application is successful. The centre is running on appoints only.
The RSPCA is always rescuing animals from neglect, abuse and abandonment and rehabilitating animals ready to find homes so if you don’t see any animals that are suitable for you right away, you can also sign up for email alerts when animals matching their criteria come into their care.
