A LANDSLIP caused by heavy rain near Stourbridge led to delayed and cancelled train services.
The landslip, between Stourbridge and Langley Green, caused disruption with all lines blocked this morning (Tuesday October 5).
Replacement services were running between Langley Green and Kidderminster and Worcester.
West Midlands Railway said earlier this morning: “Because of a landslip between Langley Green and Stourbridge Junction all lines are blocked.
“Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed.
"Disruption is expected to last until around 9am (05 October).
“Because of the inclement weather overnight the railway line is currently blocked between Langley Green and Stourbridge Junction in both directions.
“Rail replacement transport has been ordered and will run a shuttle service calling at all stations between Langley Green and Kidderminster and between Langley Green and Worcester stations in both directions.
“In the mean time, please use the Live Departures & Arrivals or National Rail Enquiries real-time journey planner to see your journey options.”
