A CURRY and comedy night raised £1,000 to help disadvantaged and disabled youngsters enjoy a magical Christmas.
The fundraiser at IndiLuxe in Amblecote was held by More Mascots Please, a community interest company that supports disabled and disadvantaged young people and their families across Dudley.
Deputy Mayor of Dudley Susan Greenaway and her consort, Desmond Greenaway also joined in the fun.
The evening raised £1,000 which will host a Christmas party for the youngsters and fund a visit to Santa at Cherry Lane Garden Centre.
Founder and disability rights campaigner Ceri Davies, from Kingswinford, said: "We all had a fantastic evening with lots of fun and laughter and we ate lots of curry.
"I would like to thank Handu, Christopher Round and Gary Woodcock for their support."
Christopher performed while Gary donated hundreds of pounds.
More Mascots Please has raised over £55,000 to help children since it was founded in 2013.
