THE popular Santa Jog in aid of Mary Steven's Hospice is set to return this December.
The event, which takes place at Mary Steven's Park, returns after last year's event was cancelled due to the Covid pandemic.
People of all ages and pets are invited to sign up for the event, which takes place on December 5.
Adults taking part will receive a Santa suit and Christmas tree finisher badge and younger Santa joggers will receive a pair of reindeer antlers.
There will also be treats for all dogs who take part.
James Totney, Community and Events Fundraiser at The Mary Stevens Hospice said: We can't wait to see a sea of Santas taking over Mary Stevens Park as we bring back our popular Santa Jog event. It has really become a family tradition on the lead up to Christmas and we have been busy planning to ensure that all of our supporters have a wonderful morning making memories with family and friends.
"What a better way to get into the festive spirit and help your local Hospice."
To sign up, call 01384 377 778 or sign up directly through the Hospice website at www.marystevenshospice.co.uk/event/santa-jog-2/
Each person that signs up will receive a sponsor form, which will support the Hospice with continuing to provide their care free of charge.
