Haden Hill Leisure Centre will be opening up its doors to the public to celebrate the launch of its new expanded gym, SynerGym Fitness.
The Barrs Road leisure centre managed by Sandwell Leisure Trust has had £160,000 worth of refurbishments made and new equipment installed to expand and modernise the facility.
To celebrate the launch of the new expanded gym an open day is taking place on Saturday January 26 from 10am-4pm.
The i-gym will be open for free with a dance mat competition taking place from 1-3pm with a chance to win a month's i-gym pass for the winner and their friend. From 12-3pm the bouncy castle will be available for youngsters while the adults can visit the new gym to take a look at the new facility.
A bike challenge will be taking place in the SynerGym Fitness facility. Anyone who cycles 3KM will be entered into a prize draw to be in with a chance to win a mountain bike.
The PCT will be providing free health assessments during the day and Active Sandwell will on hand to provide information on leisure activities available for the over 60s. For more details, call 01384 564 811 or visit www.slt.sandwell.gov.uk.
