STOURBRIDGE MP Suzanne Webb visited the town’s delivery office to thank Royal Mail posties for their work during the pandemic and the busy Christmas period.
Suzanne met up with manager Glenn Morris and his staff at the High Street facility as they sorted through cards, letters and parcels last Saturday morning.
The Tory MP thanked posties for their hard work during the pandemic and during the traditional busy Christmas period and she said: "Our posties have done a tremendous job over the last few years keeping us supplied and connected and it was right I went to say hello and to thank them for their hard work.
“They are now working flat out during the Christmas rush and parcel deliveries continue to rise so there is little rest for them.”
The MP urged people to ensure they have sent off all of their cards by Saturday December 18 which is the last day for Christmas posting this year.
