A MAN has been rushed to hospital after an incident at an industrial premises in Brierley Hill.
West Midlands Ambulance Service responded to the Mill Street incident just after 11am this morning (Friday, February 4).
A man was given trauma care at the scene after sustaining serious injuries and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for emergency care.
Although an air ambulance was sent out, it was not required by the ambulance service and was stood down.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to an industrial premises on Mill Street, Brierley hill at 11.08am following reports of a patient who had been injured.
"An ambulance, a paramedic officer, a critical care paramedic and HART paramedics attended.
"One man was given trauma care scene after sustaining serious injuries before being conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further emergency care."
