A MAN has been arrested after police officers chased a stolen van in Brierley Hill.
Police were at the scene on Moor Street this morning (Friday, February 4), where a white van had crashed into a pole.
Officers have said on Twitter that the stolen van had failed to stop for them.
On patrol we saw this stolen van. It failed to stop and the during a pursuit the driver alighted, leaving the van to roll along the road. Following a foot chase he was arrested at taser point on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle, dangerous driving and failing to stop. JF pic.twitter.com/q0rJ9oOaM6

Following the pursuit, the driver then fled from the van leaving it to roll along the road.
A man was then chased on foot and was arrested at taser point on suspicion of vehicle theft, dangerous driving and failing to stop.
