THE search is on at Merry Hill to find the region’s biggest Batman fan for a chance to win a VIP cinema experience to watch the new Batman film.

Batman fans are invited to submit videos and photos showing their love for the superhero, whether with an exclusive piece of merch or impressive trivia fact, between Wednesday February 23 to Sunday February 27.

Entrants can submit photo or videos to Merry Hill’s Facebook or Instagram page. The winner will be crowned through a public vote on Merry Hill’s Instagram stories, where the general public can ‘vote’ for their favourite entry.

The winner will enjoy a VIP experience where they can treat up to three guests at the midnight screening of the new Batman movie at ODEON Dudley on Friday March 4.

The prize includes a three-course meal courtesy of Nando’s before the screening.

The winner will also have a personal waiter to serve a welcome drink and nibbles, including nachos, hotdogs and popcorn during the viewing. A £50 Merry Hill gift card is also included in the prize.

To mark the occasion, and bring a taste of Gotham to the Black Country, the iconic Batmobile will be making an experience at Merry Hill. Visitors can see it outside Primark (Upper Mall) from Wednesday February 23 to Friday 25 February 25 (9am to 9pm).

Film fans can also pose with life-size Batman and Catwoman statues on the Lower Mall opposite Mango, along with vintage comic book memorabilia.

Centre manager Jonathan Poole said: “The release of a new Batman film is always exciting, and we wanted to share this with our visitors and local community.

“We can’t wait to see which superfan has what it takes to be crowned the winner.”

The competition is open from Wednesday February 23 to Sunday February 27 and the winner will be announced on March 1.
