QUARRY Bank Tennis Club is to host a SheRallies event - an afternoon of free tennis for women or girls who are interested in trying out the sport.
SheRallies is an initiative set up by tennis coach Judy Murray, mother of Sir Andy Murray, to get more girls playing and coaching tennis.
Judy has designed training sessions and fun competitions for girls and women in the community - and Quarry Bank Tennis Club is to host a session on Saturday May 7 from 1.15pm to 3pm.
Anyone interested in attending can find out more online at https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/QuarryBankTennisClub.
All equipment will be provided.
The Prosser Tennis Academy, which is run from the club in Talbots Lane, boasts five female coaches - including head coaches Stacey Billingham and Nikki Parkes - and has gone from strength to strength with more than 100 juniors and adults playing each week in coaching sessions.
