THE following were sentenced when they appeared before Dudley Magistrates' Court on Thursday April 28:
David Plant, of Powke Lane, Rowley Regis, was given a court bill for £469 after admitting assaulting a police officer in Quarry Bank.
The 55-year-old pleaded guilty to assault by beating of an emergency worker on April 8 in Quarry Bank.
He was fined £200 and ordered to pay compensation of £50, a £34 surcharge to fund victim services and costs of £185 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Rachel Bishop, aged 38, of Broad Street, Oldbury, pleaded guilty to driving while over the legal alcohol limit in Baptist End Road, Netherton, on April 13.
She also admitted driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance.
Magistrates disqualified her from driving for 22 months and fined her £120 as well as ordering her to pay a £34 surcharge to fund victim services and costs of £135 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Tatum Moore, aged 44, of Buckingham Road, Rowley Regis, was banned from driving and hit with a court bill of £630 after admitting drink driving.
She pleaded guilty to driving while over the legal alcohol level in Birchfield Road, Oldbury, on April 13.
She was disqualified from driving licence for 22 months and fined £450 as well as being ordered to pay a £45 surcharge to fund victim services and costs of £135 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
Barinder Singh, of Rood End Road, Oldbury, pleaded guilty to possessing class A drugs crack cocaine and heroin and was fined £350 when sentenced at Dudley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday April 28.
The 32-year-old was found to have six wraps containing 1 gram of crack cocaine and 20 wraps containing 3.18 grams of heroin in his possession in Smethwick contrary to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
In addition to the fine, magistrates ordered the forfeiture of the drugs and ordered him to pay costs of £185 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £35 surcharge to fund victim services of £35.
