THE Union Flag is now flying at full mast at Dudley Council House following the Accession Proclamation for King Charles III in London this morning.

It will remain at full mast until the reading of the regional proclamation in Dudley on Sunday September 11 when it will return to half mast to mark the death of the sovereign Queen Elizabeth II who passed away at Balmoral on Thursday.

People are invited to attend tomorrow's regional reading, which will take place on the steps of Dudley Council House at 1pm.

A ceremony will also take place in the neighbouring borough of Sandwell, at 1pm outside Sandwell Council House which is also flying the Union Flag at full mast.
