WORDSLEY'S search to find a Festival Princess swings into action this weekend.
Around 25 young ladies, aged between seven and 11, will be competing for the crown and a chance to be treated like Royalty on the day of the festival, Saturday June 14.
Judging takes place at the Richardson Hall, Lawnswood Road, Wordsley, from 4pm.
The winner of the top title will open the Wordsley Festival fun-day at midday.
And for the first-time in the competition's two-year history - due to the record number of youngsters wanting to take part in the competition, organisers will also be crowning a runner-up, Princess-in-Waiting.
Organiser Karen Fielder said: "I'm really hoping the event will be a success."
