PUPILS at a Stourbridge school are top of the shots after scooping first place in a competition for young marksmen.
A team of five students, aged from 15 to 17, from Oldswinford Hospital School became top guns after finishing first in the senior category of the 2008 Schools Challenge event for clay pigeon shooting, organised in association with The Oxford Gun Company.
The pupils collected their prize, a Webley and Scott 900 12 bore shotgun, at the Heath Lane school on Wednesday April 30.
The Oldswinford hot shots outscored pupils from schools around the UK at the competition, which was held in Tewkesbury on April 23.
