IN Stan Lampard's presentation to our club, on Friday April 25th entitled "Venezuela - Plants of the Lost World" he related to us, with the aid of an excellent Audio Visual presentation, his last two visits to this fascinating country.

Stan's photographs illustrated the wide changes of vegetation across the country, from the lush green of the river valleys to the near moonscapes of the mountainous regions ably illustrating the effects of the soil quality on the plants to be found there.

Our next regular meeting will be held at Clent Village Hall on May 23rd, when we will be challenging Belbroughton Horticultural Society to a "Gardening Quiz".

This is always a most entertaining and educational evening, so why not come along?

In June we will be holding our evening visit to "World's End Nurseries" including an evening meal, whilst other events in our calendar include a full day visit to "Arley Hall and Gardens", an evening visit to "Little Larford Cottage Garden" and on Saturday September 13th we will be holding our annual "Clent Flower Show" in collaboration with Clent WI.

With our programme of interesting garden based talks, quizzes and visits, whatever your gardening interests, Clent Gardening Club will have something for you.

Come and find out more about us.

All are welcome to meetings on the fourth Friday of each month at 7.30pm for 7.45pm normally held at the Clent Parish Hall, Church Avenue, Clent.
