THE April meeting of the West Midland Fuchsia Society was well attended because the speaker was Mr Alan Solomon, a well-known fuchsia judge.
He brought along his laptop to illustrate the talk, the first half was on how to grow a standard fuchsia from cutting to showing. After the break he continued with small pot culture, the differing sizes and styles that can be grown from hoops, fans, pillars, to the adventurous shapes of rabbits and birds, etc.
The raffle raised £57.
