THE Stourbridge Stroke Club celebrated their 20th Birthday at The Granary Hotel on Friday 9th May.
The Chairman Dennis Howard welcomed the guests, members and volunteers.
Membership rem-ains strong with a very committed group of volunteers.
The demand for membership is constant and we have a waiting list.
Thanks were expressed to the volunteers who had made a valuable contribution over the past twenty years.
The birthday cake was presented by Sheila Shilton who had been a founder member of the club.
Revd. David Meacham, a founder member who was the minister at New Road Methodist Church 1985-1990 thanked all the volunteers and said how pleased he was to return and see the Club flourishing after 20 years and playing a vital service to the community.
