A CHARITY, which spends £100 a minute on life saving research, is asking big-hearted borough people for help.
The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is calling on Black Country residents to join a nationwide fundraising campaign throughout June, by distributing envelopes for cash donations.
The Help a Heart campaign will provide funding for research into heart disease, which is the UK's biggest killer.
Janet Jones, BHF fundraising and volunteer manger for the Black Country, said: "We want to be able to fund more research to understand how heart disease develops so that we can help doctors better predict and treat problems."
