AMBLECOTE ladies club meets on the 1st Wednesday each month in the Church hall, Vicarage road at 7.45pm.
At the annual general meeting earlier this year, Mrs Greta Jones was elected chairwoman, Mrs Maureen Green, Treasurer and Mrs Kathleen Grainger, secretary.
Our members enjoy a varied programme which has so far included (illustrated) talks by Mrs. Coley entitled 'Bella in the wychelm'', Mr John Pittwood, 'where did my baggage go''and Mr John Billingham, 'Do you remember the 50's''.
A birthday dinner was held in May and in June, we have a strawberry and cream tea with bingo followed by a talk on 'humour in court'' in July.
We hold competitions, sales and raffles.
