OUR May meeting opened with prayers, especially remembering Iris Hillman, who is in hospital awaiting an operation.
After taking apologies and reading and approving the previous minutes, our Chairman thanked members for their support at the Woman's World Day of Prayer and also for the delicious refreshments provided for the buffet supper at our Ecumenical Evening which was a great success.
Margaret Biddlecombe is doing a 26 mile walk in London in aid of breast cancer and would welcome sponsors.
We have several birthday's this month but the highlight was being able to give Roma Mann flowers, congratulations and best wishes on her 90th birthday.
Our speaker Fiona Lucas then took us on a journey Round the World in Tea Towels' which was very enjoyable, educational and entertaining.
The next meeting is an evening trip with supper at The Lenchford
The coach will leave the church car park at 6:15pm prompt
