A 23-year-old Stourbridge shoplifter has been warned she could spend time behind bars.

Alexis Killworth of Brooklands Road admitted two charges of theft when she appeared before Wolverhampton Crown Court on Thursday May 29.

She further admitted two charges of attempted theft and two charges of failing to surrender to police after being bailed.

Recorder James Higham QC remanded Killworth on bail until Monday June 30 for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

He warned her the offences were serious and the imposition of a custodial sentence had to be considered by the court.
