NATIONAL Grid bosses have apologised for the inconvenience after nearly 1,800 properties were left without power in Kinver today (Friday October 21).
Homes in the Dark Lane and Cookley Lane areas of the South Staffordshire village were affected from mid-morning.
But according to National Grid power company, supply had been restored to 1,784 homes by lunchtime - with 16 properties remaining without power at 1.18pm.
A spokesperson for National Grid said the outage had been due to an overhead network fault and she added: "We apologise for the inconvenience caused."
The estimated restoration time for all properties is 5.30pm, according to National Grid's live power cuts map.
