A CALL for action has been issued by the team at Stourbridge Junction after a charming handknitted post box topper depicting George the station cat was ruined.
The newly installed topper was created by Stourbridge’s Crafting for Communities group which provides handmade gift items to help spread cheer to those in need.
Depicting the station’s chief mouse catcher George his meownself, the famous FC from Stourbridge Junction alongside a mouse and some of George’s treatos – the decorative postbox topper, placed on a post box at the station, had been drawing praise from far and wide.
However, according to the team at Stourbridge Junction who run George’s Twitter account – the knitted FC has been snatched, along with the mouse and George’s treatos.
