MERRY Hill has announced its festive opening hours, with shops set to open until 10pm in the final week before Christmas.
The mall will be open from 9am to 8pm on Saturday December 3, 10 and 17 and from 9am to 10pm from Monday December 19 until Friday December 23 to give shoppers longer to fit in their Christmas shopping.
There’s also lots of festive fun and activities lined up.
HMV will be hosting instore performances from United Church’s gospel choir on Saturday December 3 and Lucas Dom Project on Saturday December 10, from midday.
Creative Coffee Hub is hosting a duck painting class on Wednesday December 7 and a bauble decorating class on Wednesday December 14.
Visitors can also enjoy a huge 19-foot festive themed slide, a glowing star selfie stand and gift guide offering inspiration for shoppers.
The centre also has its own gift-wrapping station in the central event space where a team of crafty wrappers will be on hand from December 18 to 23.
Jonathan Poole, centre manager at Merry Hill, said: “Christmas is such a special time for us and our visitors. In the run up to the big day our late-night shopping hours allow shoppers to pick up everything they need for their Christmas celebrations, with everything under one roof and plenty of free parking too.”
Visitors are advised to check opening times with individual brands at the centre before they set-off on their journey.
After Christmas, the centre will be closed on Christmas Day (Sunday December 25), opening back up for Boxing Day (Monday December 26) and the Bank Holiday on Tuesday December 27 from 9am until 6pm, then 9am until 9pm on December 28 and 29 for shoppers to grab some deals in the sales.
On New Year’s Eve, the mall will be open from 9am until 5pm.
The centre will operate reduced hours on New Year’s Day, opening from 11am until 5pm, and then 10am until 6pm on Monday January 2.
