A 25-year-old Kingswinford robber has been warned by a judge he is facing five years behind bars.
Gavin Oliver admitted robbing a man of jewellery and two mobile telephones and also possessing an offensive weapon, a knife, in Bromley Lane, Kingswinford.
On Tuesday June 3, Wolverhampton Crown Court was told Oliver had earlier admitted three other charges involving the possession of an air pistol.
Gilbert Hodgkinson, defending, conceded Oliver, of Auckland Road, would receive a minimum five year term for the firearms offence.
Judge Sybil Thomas further remanded Oliver in custody until Tuesday July 15 for the preparation of reports in the light of the firearms offences.
