HUNDREDS of friends and family are expected to pay tribute to a Quarry Bank teenage kick boxing champion, who died in a horrific car crash.
Sam Cox, formerly known as Sam Passey from Calewood Road died after the car he was travelling in overturned on Sunday May 18 in Stourport.
The former Thorns Community College student's funeral will take place at St Andrews church, Netherton on Monday June 9 at 2.30pm, followed by the wake at The Raven pub, Woods Lane.
Sam was an under 21 kick boxing champion and a county dart player and it is expected for some world darts players including Phil Taylor to attend the funeral.
Sam's dad will be playing in a darts tournament on Thursday June 5, which will be shown on Sky Sports one at 7pm.
He will be dedicating his performance in memory of Sam.
