The future of Brierley Hill and Withymoor FC has been secured after weeks of uncertainty.
The West Midlands Premier Division Club were facing up to the prospect of disappearing off the footballing map folowing the resignation of chairman Stephen Lea.
Speaking to the News on May 15, dejected manager Tony Gore was not optimistic about the future when he said: "I fear the worst for the club if I'm to be honest.
"The next two weeks will be crucial for the future of this club.
"It would be an absolute tragedy if this club was to disappear, but that is a real possibility when you consider our current plight."
With a fortnight now passed and crunch talks having taken place the club can once again look forward to next season in positive fashion after the manager confirmed the club would be alive and kicking.
He said: "The good news is the club will continue and we can now all look forward to next season.
"We have had some useful discussions in the past few weeks and everything looks good again.
"We will be making a couple of new appointments including a new chairman and coach and announcements on that should not be far away."
The manager also confirmed the team will be playing their home games at Lye Town's Stourbridge Road base as was planned.
