POLICE have appealed for information after a memorial bench was damaged on Hagley playing fields.

The incident happened between December 29 and 30.

Hagley and Rubery PCSO Stuart Taylor said in a neighbourhood alert: “A memorial bench was ripped up from its fitting and thrown into a brook by the railway.”

He said the bench has since been recovered but urged anyone with any information about what happened to contact police on 101, quoting log 00207_I_04012023.
