A CHILD was taken to hospital after a crash involving a pedestrian and a motorcyclist in Amblecote this afternoon (Monday January 9).
The incident happened just before 3.30pm in Wollaston Road near the Ruskin Glass Centre.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said an ambulance en route to hospital stopped at the scene after paramedics noticed the incident.
A spokesperson for the service said: "A passing ambulance came across a collision involving a motorbike and pedestrian on Wollaston Road, Amblecote, Stourbridge, at 3.27pm.
"The ambulance, which was on its way to hospital, rendered aid on scene until a second ambulance arrived.
"The pedestrian, a child, was assessed and found to have sustained injuries not thought to be serious and was conveyed to Russells Hall Hospital for further care."
