A BRAZEN burglar tried to break into a Hagley house in the early hours by smashing the patio doors with bricks.
The attempted burglary happened at a home on Bromsgrove Road at 3.30am on Tuesday January 24.
PCSO Susan White said on the neighbourhood matters alert system: "Loud bangs were heard at 3.30am and it was discovered someone had tried to smash the patio door using bricks.
"Entry was not gained.
"Any info please contact police quoting log 00123_I_24012023."
She also put out information about a burglary on Mill Pool Close which was reported on Monday (January 23). The kitchen window has been smashed and the front door left open.
She said: "It is unknown what has been stolen at this point.
"Any info please contact police quoting log 00623_I_23012023."
