STOURBRIDGE’S Mary Stevens Hospice is hosting a Spring Jigsaw Festival this month following the success of its last event.
Following the success of the 2022 Jigsaw Festival, the hospice is inviting to jigsaw junkies from near and far to join the celebration of the beloved pastime.
This festival, taking place from 9am to 3pm on Saturday March 25 at Mary Stevens Hospice, Hagley Road, Oldswinford, will feature a community jigsaw puzzle, tea, coffee and cake, with all proceeds going towards the care the hospice provides for patients and families.
People can also take home a new jigsaw or two, thanks to the influx of jigsaw donations received from supporters in the last few weeks.
Emma Kilbride of Stourbridge Jigsaw Library, said: “I am really excited about the upcoming jigsaw festival. Jigsaws have always brought me joy. They are a great way of peacefully keeping your mind busy and very satisfying to complete. Now we are looking to share that joy and raise some much-needed funds for hospice along the way.
“There will be bargains galore for the keen puzzler, with hundreds of great quality puzzles from all the major brands up for grabs.
Alisha Harper, community fundraising and events assistant at the hospice said: “We would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to The Stourbridge Jigsaw Library for working closely with us to bring this fantastic Jigsaw Festival to the hospice, to raise funds to support our care. The care we provide would not be possible without the help and generous support we receive from our local community and events like this one show us just how lucky we are to receive such fantastic support from our community.
"This event is a great opportunity for jigsaw enthusiasts to come together to support the hospice, have a go at the community jigsaw puzzle and take home a new jigsaw or two.”
