STOURBRIDGE MP Suzanne Webb has launched a competition for school children to design a card for the King’s Coronation.
The winner’s design will be printed and sent to His Majesty ahead of the event on Saturday May 6.
The competition is open to all school aged children in Stourbridge and Suzanne has written to every school inviting them to take part.
The MP said: “Last year’s competition to design a card for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee was a huge success so I am delighted to launch another to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.
“It will be an exciting day and one I want the children of Stourbridge to be involved in. I hope they will get their craft kits out and start designing some brilliant cards.
“The winner will be announced in April.”
Entries can be sent to Suzanne Webb MP, 1a Worcester Street, Stourbridge, DY8 1AH.
The deadline for entries is March 31.
