AN online donation page has been set up to raise funds in memory of a popular motorcyclist killed in a Kingswinford crash earlier this week.
Motorbike rider Pauly Skidmore, aged 19, lost his life after the collision involving a van which happened on Stream Road just before 6pm on Tuesday March 21.
The teenager was treated at the scene of the incident, which happened at the junction of Glynne Avenue, but he died of his injuries.
A vigil was held last night (Wednesday March 22) near the scene of the tragedy where floral tributes, balloons and candles have been left in memory of the much-loved former Pensnett High School student.
Meanwhile, an online donation page has been set up on the Go Fund Me website to raise funds to help cover funeral expenses.
Sharon Gwilliams, who has set up the fundraiser, said: “No family should have to go through this traumatic time.”
She said she had launched the donation page to help lessen the burden on Pauly’s heartbroken family - adding: “It’s a devastating time for all of us.
“He was a live wire, lived life to the full. His life was just beginning.”
Police are investigating the tragic incident and have urged anyone who may have seen what happened or who may have dashcam footage to get in touch by calling 101 and quoting log number 3804 21/3/23.
