TWO Stourbridge roads will be closed this week and there will be a string of temporary traffic lights in place while the council and utility companies carry out works.
Racecourse Lane, Norton, will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday March 28) while Dudley Council's green care team cuts grass and carries out a litter pick.
They will be working along the entire length of the road, from Worcester Road to Norton Road.
It will be closed from 9.30am until 3.30pm.
Bowling Green Road, Stourbridge, will be closed from the junction with Mamble Road to the junction with Swan Street from today (Monday March 27) until Friday April 7 while Cadent Gas carries out work to lay 81m of new gas mains.
There will be temporary traffic lights on South Road, Norton, from today (Monday March 27) until Wednesday (March 29).
The signals will be outside 54-57 opposite the junction with Glebe Lane to opposite the junction with Clifton Street while BRSK carries out works in footpath and road to overlay the existing Openreach network.
They will operate from 9.30am till 3pm.
There will also be temporary traffic lights on Worcester Lane, Stourbridge, from today (Monday March 27) until Wednesday (March 29).
The signals will be opposite number 1 while Severn Trent Water carries out maintenance. They will operate from 8am till 4pm.
More temporary traffic lights will be in place in Worcester Lane, Stourbridge, from Thursday March 30 until Monday April 3.
The signals will be outside number 53, near the junction with Glenelg Drive while Seven Trent Water carries out maintenance - they will operate from 8am till 4pm.
