A STOURBRIDGE club for adults with special educational needs and disabilities is seeking volunteers.
Happy Hours Club based at St Thomas's Church Hall in Market Street, Stourbridge, runs on a Tuesday night from 7pm to 9pm.
The club boasts 67 members on its books and attracts 50 to 55 members each week who enjoy a range of activities including games, jigsaws, magnetic darts, pool, large snakes and ladders, dominoes, arts and crafts, a disco and more.
The group also goes out to pantomimes, restaurants, canal boat trips and other outings and a celebration is being planned for the Coronation of King Charles III in May.
Terry Pigott, who helps to run the group, said: “We are attracting more and more members but now the big problem is a shortage of volunteers.”
Anyone interested in helping out would be needed on a Tuesday night for about three hours to help with setting up, running the club and packing away.
People can contact Mr Pigott on 07807 028308 or email terry.pigott@blueyonder.co.uk.
