THREE people have been arrested after a robbery at Merry Hill Shopping Centre.
At around 5.20pm yesterday (April 4) a teenager was with his brother at the centre’s multi-storey car park when they were approached by three people.
Dudley Police tweeted: “One of them asked the teenage boy if he could use his phone and have a look at his bag to try it on.
“When he asked for his items to be returned, he was threatened, and the three made off with his property.
“We were called and officers arrived quickly at the scene where they spotted the suspects.
“Following a brief chase, the three people, an 18-year-old and two sixteen-year-olds, were arrested on suspicion of robbery.
“The stolen items have been returned to the owner.”
