BUSINESSES in part of Stourbridge were hit by a power cut this morning (Wednesday April 26).
Addresses in the New Road/ring road area, including the Stourbridge News office, were among those left without electricity for about an hour.
Power company bosses estimated 44 properties were affected.
A "suspected blown fuse" on the local network has been blamed for the outage.
The National Grid website predicted power would be restored by 2pm but it was actually back on just after 11.30am.
Postcodes affected were: DY8 1PH, DY8 1PR, DY8 1PS, DY8 1PX, DY8 1PZ, DY8 1QD, DY8 1QG, DY8 1QQ.
