KINVER is hosting its very own celebration of the Coronation of King Charles III this weekend ahead of the official Royal event.
The Kinver Coronation Party in the High Street will take place on Saturday April 29 between 12 and 6pm.
Organised by Kinver Parish Council and supported by Kinver Country Fayre, the event will include street food, stalls, dog show, children’s attractions, bouncy castle, facepainting, demonstrations and performances, and live music in village pubs.
There’ll also be a children’s fancy dress competition on the White Harte pb car park at 12.45pm.

Jenny Cree from Kinver Parish Council said: “We’re really looking forward to the celebrations this weekend, which are free for all to attend, and very family-friendly.
“It will be great to mark such an important occasion in our country’s history, with an event the whole town can enjoy.”
The event is being sponsored by network builder FullFibre’s Fibre Heroes who will also host a stand with free branded merchandise, a raffle and people to talk to about the full fibre rollout in Kinver.
Jenny added: “This is a really key event for the town and we are delighted to have Fibre Heroes onboard as a sponsor.”
Matt Smith, head of procurement and community engagement at Fibre Heroes said: “It’s a real pleasure to be supporting Kinver with such a memorable moment, where everyone can celebrate the Coronation together.”
Fibre Heroes have been building in Kinver since early last year.
