STOURBRIDGE Repair Cafe will have volunteers on hand to help fix beloved items for people wanting to repair rather than replace.
The group of dedicated fixers will be at St Thomas Church Hall in Market Street, Stourbridge, on Saturday (May 27) and every fourth Saturday of the month thereafter.
Doors open at 10am and the last item for repair will be taken at around 1.30pm.
Repair café spokesperson Marion Meadows said: “We have a brilliant track record for mending those items that no one else will take on.
“Our sewing section is usually kept busy with repairs - anything from an overcoat to a teddy bear. We never know what the day holds in store to challenge us.”
Tea, coffee and home-made cake will be available while people wait for repairs.
Marion added: “We have no set charges but ask that our customers give a donation for our work in order to keep the service going.”
