STOURBRIDGE town is once again set to host a day of carnival fun.
Organiser David Harcourt has confirmed Stourbridge Carnival will go ahead on Sunday July 2 having been absent due to the Covid pandemic for the last three years.
He said: “The events team have been working hard to put together a programme of events and attractions throughout the day.
“The carnival has again teamed up with the Black Country Festival to feature a variety of local bands and singers at the top of Coventry Street.
“Vintage vehicles will be in Lower Street; while the main arena by the clock will feature dance and karate groups, and singers.”
Black Country comedy group The Fizzogs will also put in an appearance.
There’ll be stalls in the High Street and Market Street, and Talbot Street will host fairground rides.
St Thomas Church will provide a rest area, refreshments and light music and will also be offering bell tower tours.
