PREPARATIONS to bring back Stourbridge Carnival after a three-year break are in full swing.
Set to take place in the town centre on Sunday July 2, this year’s family funday will have a Kings and Queens theme in honour of the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
The celebrations will kick off with a fancy dress competition at 10.30am for youngsters aged three to 10 with prizes for the best-dressed young kings and queens.
The event will take place in the main arena area by the town clock and it will be followed by the carnival parade which will start in Lower High Street at 12.30pm.
There’ll also be classic cars in Lower High Street, live bands in Coventry Street and fun fair rides in Market Street plus dance and martial arts displays in the main arena throughout the day.
Anyone wishing to have a stall at the event can email bescot@hotmail.co.uk
