WOLLASTON Tennis Club is serving up a special invitation to anyone who fancies a game during Wimbledon fortnight.
The club, which is based off Prestwood Drive, Stourton, is hosting a special open day - complete with a glass of Wimbledon-style Pimm’s for visitors who pop along on Saturday July 8 from 2pm to 5pm.
Emily White, the club’s ladies’ captain and one of its two coaches, said: “The afternoon is an opportunity for us to showcase our wonderful club with an afternoon of free tennis for anyone of any age.
“We will have some open day new membership deals for anyone that signs up as a member on the day.”
She added: “And over 18s will be able to raise a glass of Pimm’s as a toast to the fabulous game of tennis.”
There’ll also be a barbecue and a raffle at the open day.
Wimbledon fortnight starts today (Monday July 3) and runs until Sunday July 16.
