A £3.7 MILLION family entertainment centre with 24 ten pin bowling lanes is on track to open at Merry Hill this autumn – with up to 40 new jobs set to be created.
Hollywood Bowl Group has begun work to create the new state-of-the-art centre which will bring a taste of LA to the mall.
As well as the bowling alley, which will include six VIP lanes, the complex will include amusements, an American-style bar and diner and dedicated party zone.
Scott Jones, centre manager at Hollywood Bowl Merry Hill, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening a glitzy new centre in Merry Hill.
“Hollywood Bowl has built a strong reputation for delivering affordable family experiences across the UK and we can’t wait to welcome family and friends from across the city to have fun and make memories together in our new state of the art bowling centre, just in time for autumn and Christmas.”
Jonathan Poole, centre manager at Merry Hill, added: “We can’t wait to welcome Hollywood Bowl to Merry Hill. It’s a major addition to the centre as we bring in more of what our millions of visitors are telling us they want.”
The new venture, which will create up to 40 new jobs, will be located in the old TK Maxx unit and will open its doors for the first time on Monday September 11.
