Liberal Democrat Ryan Priest has secured a win in the Cradley and Wollescote by-election, receiving 1,321 votes.
Labour received 771 votes, while the Conservatives garnered 353 votes.
This victory has put the Liberal Democrats back on the map in the Black Country, where they had previously held no seats on the local authorities.
The by-election win was a gain from Labour, who are currently running high in national polls.
The Cradley and Wollescote ward is part of the Stourbridge constituency, which is currently represented by a Conservative MP.
Newly elected councillor Ryan Priest attributed his victory to hard work, community support, and personal engagement with constituents.
