POLICE have carried out a speed watch operation in Lye to catch motorists flouting the limit.
Officers were on Lye by-pass on Monday (September 4) checking to see if motorists were sticking to the 30mph limit.
Lye Neighbourhood Team carries out the initiative after which "lots of court summons" were issued.
Stourbridge Police tweeted: "Lye Neighbourhood Team conducting a speed operation on Lye by-pass yesterday.
"Lots of court summons issued, thanks to everyone sticking to speed limit! #speedkills."
