A NEW shop has opened in Victoria Passage in Stourbridge and has been paid a visit by the town's MP.
Truly Scrumptious Boutique, which sells a variety of goodies such as jewellery, scarves, chocolates and other gifts, opened in Victoria Passage on October 14.
Stourbridge MP Suzanne Webb met up with founder and director Charlie Mainprice, as well as her pet Benji at the dog-friendly shop for a tour of the new premises.
Charlie is keen to support British businesses and has sourced British designed and British made products to sell, including local ones too.
She sells Stourbridge artist Stacy Hammond drawings of the local area.
Suzanne said: “I'm really pleased there's another dog friendly shop in Stourbridge for me and Sid to have a mooch around.
“Many thanks to Charlie for inviting me to see the newest addition to our town centre and I was impressed.
"We need talented entrepreneurs like Charlie and independent shops in Stourbridge and our other towns.
"It is a vote of confidence in the regeneration of the area to have new businesses arriving and I wish Charlie the very best in her venture.”
Suzanne has sent a letter to the landlord of Victoria Passage to ask about cleaning the passageway more regularly and turning on the CCTV cameras.
