A TEMPORARY road closure notice has been issued for a busy road in Amblecote to enable reconstruction works to take place.
Highways chiefs at Dudley Council have issued a notice that will see Vicarage Road closed to motorists on Sunday January 21 and Sunday January 28, from 8am to 4pm.
The busy road will be closed from the junction of Hillfields Road Island to the junction of High Street, Amblecote. Vehicles will also be prohibited from waiting, loading or unloading.
Meanwhile, road will be closed to cars travelling uphill (east) on Thursday January 18 until Friday January 19 and on Monday January 22 until Friday January 26, from 9.30am until 3.30pm each day.
A diversion will be in place while works are underway and access will be maintained for works vehicles, emergency services and for properties where it is safe.
