POLICE conducting a traffic operation on Stourbridge ring road have arrested a driver.
Officers arrested the driver, who was disqualified from getting behind the wheel, in the operation conducted yesterday (Monday February 19).
Stourbridge neighbourhood police worked with traffic officers and Brierley Hill and Dudley police to check drivers using Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR).
Two illegal window tints were also removed from vehicles.
Stourbridge Police tweeted: "Stourbridge NHT Officers with the support @Trafwmp & @BrierleyHillWMP & @DudleyTownWMP have conducted a traffic/ANPR today around Stourbridge ring road.
"Positive engagement & reassurance: 1 x arrested for Disqualified driving.
"2 x illegal tints removed.
"1 x Insurance check."
